Martin Luther King Jr. should be considered the greatest individual ever born in the United States of America. I want to thank him for his relentless pursuit of equality, justice, and righteousness for all of God's children. The courage he displayed in the face of constant terror from the opposition was phenomenal. He was always on the offense putting pressure on the government to change the unjust laws that were pervasive in the country during his lifetime. I was only seven years of age when I met Dr. King. It was only a few days after his assassination at the Sister's Chapel at Spelman College. Darius Fernando Wynn Sr.

Dr. King has been an inspiration to me all my life. His message continues to inspire me to do all I can to fight injustice. As a 74 year old white Southerner, I live daily with the guilt of racism. We've made great progress over the past 50 years, but still have a ways to go. God Bless Dr. Martin Luther King.

I was a junior at Morehouse College getting ready to meet with the Eta Lambda Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha when I was told that Bro Martin had been killed. That was a very sad day. On the day of the funeral. the Brothers of Alpha Rho formed a line behind the chairs Reserved for VIPs on the grass in front of Harkness Hall. I will forever Thank Brother Martin for his sacrifice that created a way forward for America. I thank the King siblings for keeping the Dream alive.

A drum major for the poor, a non-violent peacemaker against war. A genius for justice. A world citizen. We need more folks like MLK Jr to move into a fair future for the whole planet!
May all MLK' visions move forward, so he always lives on!

Reflecting back on April 4,1968 , a child watching TV with my grandparents. The mood changed in the room. We had just heard of the news of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. being shot. A man of peace, great faith, hope and love suddenly gone. We started praying, through the tears for his entire family, friends, and close circle of confidants and their families. I send heartfelt condolences to Dr. King's family today (April 4, 2018). May you forever find your strength of staying strong through your connection with the Lord. You have been in my prayers for years and will remain in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you for sharing your father with the world.

God is a lover of peace and gave His Son as a ransom for all of mankind. It is important that we practice a life of peace just as Jesus did, reflecting God's love for all. As you remember him know that he is in God's memory and soon he will reunite you again in a peaceful earthly paradise. John 6:40
