Dear Bev, Garry, Leslie, Jesse IV and Kimberly:
Please know that Jesse Lee Parks, III will forever be remembered for his wit, warmth, grace and strength.
As a friend since the playground days and his classmate at Classical, I have many cherished memories of practical jokes, hilarious one-liners and the ever-present smile that sometimes seemed to be painted on (He'd laugh out loud at that reference, I believe.)
May the sadness of his passing one day give way to the knowledge of the richness he added to our lives.

Bev, The funeral mass was beautiful. Debbie and I will keep you in our prayers.

Dear Bev and Family,

I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Jesse's passing. So many memories of our youth in Springfield have flooded my brain all week. I'm happy and proud to have been able to have had him touch my life. I hope that there's a place where he can stick jumpers from the top of the key and hit nothing but net or catch passes all day for touchdowns. I'm so happy I made it to reunion last year so that I could say hello to him and remember the "old" days.
May you and your family hold onto him with memories of happier times and may your pain ease with the passage of time.
Jesse will be missed but never forgotten.

Marc

Hi Bev and family,

I knew you and Jesse from our days at Classical High. Jesse was someone whose company I always enjoyed. Obviously many people felt that way as he was voted Most Popular in the class. His kind and easygoing style and his sweet smile could brighten anyone's day. He lived his life with much poise and grace. I am very sorry that Jesse is no longer with us, but I can truly say that he had a positive influence on countless lives, including mine.

All the best to you and your family.

Dear Beverly:
Our Classical High Reunion last October was special in a number of ways. Among them was the fact that Jesse Parks was coming. It was the first reunion that he came back to, and everyone was so excited to see him. A lot of people remember Jesse as an athletic star. But even more, people remember him as their friend. There is an outpouring of emotion on our class website right now that is truly unique. Everyone who knew Jesse will be thinking about him, not just now or later … but always.
We will have another reunion in a few years time and sincerely hope you will be there. Until then, we will be thinking of you and Jesse.

Dear Beverly, Garry and Family,

I was so sad to hear that Jesse passed away recently. Although I have not been in touch with him in quite a long time, I will always remember his gentle strength, subtle humor, integrity and kindness. I know there is little anyone can say to bring you comfort right now but I am sure he will live on in all who knew him. Beverly, I will say a prayer for you tonight that God gives you the strength to continue to live the blessed life that the two of you shared. I feel that Jesse wants it that way! God Bless you and your family and a special hello to Garry.

With fondness and warm thoughts for you always,

Mark and Shirley Goldstein

To Beverly and family,
It is difficult to find the words to express how truly sorry I am to hear of Jesse's passing. I think I can speak for those of us who saw him at The Reunion this past Fall that he still had that great sense of humor and was a true gentleman. We all will think of him often.

Beverly, Jesse IV and Kimberly, my deepest sympathy to you and the rest of the family. I was shocked when I read the obit in the Republican. I remember Jesse well, from the time he played football in high school, when I attended his wedding, worked with him at MassMutual. Now he is no longer among the living, life is so short, therefore let us love one another. May you be comforted by his memory knowing he is in a better place. May Jesse's soul rest in peace and may light perpetual shine on him.

GO BLESS ALL THE FAMILY.
