JACOBS, Billy Celebration of life for Mr. Billy Ray Jacobs, of College Park, Ga. will be held Saturday, July 30, 2011, 11 am New Life Presbyterian Church, 6600 Old National Highway, Atlanta Ga. 30349, Pastor Billy M. Honor, Jr., officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5755 Mallory Rd, College Park, Ga. 30349. He is survived by loving wife, Mrs. Priscilla A. Jacobs, son Rodney R. Jacobs and daughter, Valerie T. Jacobs, 3 sisters, Mrs. Mildred J. Williams (Alex), Joyce A. McBurrows, 7 brothers, Mr. Johnny A. Jacobs (Gladys), Edward L. Jacobs, Leroy Jacobs, Mr. Jerry Jacobs (Brenda), Rev. Larry Jacobs (Carolyn), Mr. Herman Jacobs (Tracy), Mr. Kenneth N. Jacobs (Nyla). Mrs. Lasonya Banks (Michael) and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 3795 Leisure Lane, College Park, Ga. 30349 at 10am. To the Jacobs family, I pray that God will give you peace and strength thru your time of breavement. I met Billy at AT^T, he was always so kind and helpful, just a sweet spirit! He will be missed, but never forgotten. My prayers are with you all. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal!

At AT&T Billy was an "Unsung Hero".He treated everyone with respect and dignity.I am so glad I spent time with him.God Bless the Family.

What can I say about Billy that has'nt already been said:He had a very kind heart,considerate and thoughtful. He was truly a caring guy and to know him well that just shows how fortunate we all have been.

To Priscilla and children, this is your cousin Charlotte, I know your hearts are heavy at the present, but just remember and cherish what you had, a crown jewel, one of GOD'S best, you don't get a person like Billy Ray everyday, because when you have someone as real and loving as he was, that is worth more than some will ever know. Billy will certainly be missed...I met Billy a few years ago through work...he was very helpful, patient and always pleasant...his easygoing spirit and demeanor were infectious...I pray that God gives you comfort during these times...I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Billy was always helpful when I needed assistance. His thoughtfulness and attentiveness to detail was truly appreciated.
May this poem I have written for family and friends in time of sorrow
bring some comfort.
"I'll Always Be"
On earth I was God’s solider.
On earth I was a friend.
On earth I was none other,
Than a loved one;
Til the end.
Some say I was “More Than Special”
Some say I was above them all.
Some say I dealt with reason.
Some say I was their beckoning call.
But this was not my mission,
my mission was my love.
