Dale BAILEY Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
BAILEY, Dale, Sr. Mr. Dale Lamar Bailey Sr. age 72 of Snellville, Ga. passed away on Monday June 25th, 2012. Mr. Bailey is preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Thelma Bailey. Dale is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 52 years Nedra Chapman Bailey; sons Dale Lamar Bailey Jr. and his wife Delyn and children Jessica Bailey and Connor Bailey; Timothy D. Bailey and his wife Melissa and son Tyler Bailey; Michael C. Bailey and his wife Lisa and children Cooper Bailey and Dalton Bailey along with many dear friends. Dale finished the last 20 years of his architectural career with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Division, a 30 year member of Snellville United Methodist Church, a Father, Grandfather, Mentor, Artist and Loving Husband. Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 28th, 2012 at 11am at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, 3705 Hwy 78 West, Snellville Ga. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 27th from 6pm to 8pm, at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.wagesfuneralhome.com. Tom M. Wages Funeral Service, LLC, A Family Company, Snellville Chapel 770-979-3200, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

I have fond memories of Dale from our time together in the Murphy Band and at our 50th reunion. He was a good man and a good friend. Margaret and I will be praying for you in your loss. Remember all the good years and take comfort that he is now rests in peace with God.

God Speed, Dale. What fun we all had with "Beetle" Bailey in the Nation's Number 1 High Band!" I shall always remeber your smile, your keen sense of humor, but most of all, your kind and generous spirit. Now you are at rest and peace at last. To Nedra and the family, it was a high privilege to call dale "FRIEND." He will long be remembered and will live in our hearts as in yours. May you find peace and comfort in the shared joys of over more than a half century together. Psalm 23.

I know your heart is broken. But, just try to look back on the wonderful 52 years you and Dale had. A lot of good memories. Memories can never be taken away.
