Claire SINGLETON Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
SINGLETON, Claire Marietta GA resident Claire Lareine Singleton [age 71] passed away on October 3, 2013 at her home after a heroic battle with cancer. A Memorial Service was held at the Country Club of Roswell where Claire's daughter-in-law, Wendy Singleton, arranged a luncheon to celebrate her memory. Claire was born in May 24, 1942 in Norwalk, CT to Ernest and Gertrude Mead. She is survived by 'Herb', her husband and companion for over 50 years along with sisters: Lois, Beverly, Dottie; brother: David; step children: Mark, Albert, Steve, Paula; Five nephews, three nieces, four grand kids and one great grandchild. Claire was an accomplished artist, gardener, and superb cook known for her genuine hospitality and friendship to all she met. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation - 5670 Peachtree Dunwoody Road - Atlanta, Georgia 30342
