Last night I woke up thinking about Mr. Way, and I felt compelled to pray for him and Annie and Lion. James Way was once a patient of mine, and I was privileged to meet his lovely family also. He shared his history with me and the pictures of his art, and I was so moved by his story and his person. I am so sorry to learn of his passing just now, though I suspected it due to his condition. I am so sorry Lion that your dad died. What a beautiful person he was. I pray Jesus will be a comfort to you and your mom. God bless you in Jesus' Name.

During the past two years I have come to know and love Mr. Way's work. Recently, I was strongly and unceasingly compelled to purchase a piece and am joyous to own it. Today, I learned of his passing and am deeply saddened by the loss of this gifted artist and obviouly beloved man.

James was a huge inspiration to me when I was a high school art student 20 years ago. I fell in love with his work. My very first painting was a replica of one his paintings. I've been painting on and off for 20 years now. That painting I replicated still remains as one of my favorites. What a talented and inspiring man. Rest in peace and prayers to his loved ones.

Lion and Annie our playground and skate park buddies. We love James and treasure the time we got to spend with him. One of the few people you ever meet that truly would give you the shirt off his back. We are all fortunate to have James in our lives and memories are one thing thing that cannot be taken away.
