Ann and Rex, I pray that you find these words refreshing and encouraging. "When losing a love one, the deep feeling of hurt is tremendously painful and can last for a long time. But we must always remember that we cant handle the pain alone. Pray for endurance is extremely important and needed. Trust in God with all your heart and he will give you the strength to carry on." Ann, my thoughts and prayers have been with you all since I heard the sad news of Erik's passing. Today's service was a beautiful introduction to the man many of us never met. I left wishing he was my best friend, too... Good job, mom and dad... God bless you all.

There are no words to express my sadness. Erik was a beautiful person with such a true heart. I feel blessed to have spent time with him while backpacking through Europe and studying in Spain. He was a true friend. Prayers for his family today and always. Erik's light touched me and has touched so many others.
