Rosie brought many smiles and chuckles to the lives and faces of all that knew her especially the children of Atlanta as Miss Boo. She loved life and she loved sharing it with those around her. Rest in peace my dear sister, job well done !

Dear Rosie, I regret having lost touch with you in recent years. You could always brighten the darkest day with your sweetness and humor. As I sit at my computer typing this little note I can see my treasured Rosie print of Dust Bunny. It complements my embroidered motto that hangs above it. "You may touch the dust, but please don't write in it."
If you're ever in the neighborhood please drop in, Rosie, you can't miss the place. Just look for the Witch X-ing sign on my driveway. (That was compliments of John S.) A little farther along you'll see the raccoon restaurant, usually open 24/7. And yes, I still rescue spiders.
You'll always live in the hearts of those who knew and loved you, dear soul.
With tears of mixed joy and sadness,
Dazzle

As an artist myself I like reading or hearing about how other artist have affected the world and the people around them. As the family goes through this period of mourning please reflect on the beautiful art that she made for the world. "A good name is better than good oil" Ecclesiastes 7:1

Rosie was a truly beautiful person. I had the honor to know her for a few special years in the 70s, and also as a child in the 50s on TV when she was Miss Boo. Yes, she loved animals -- she once adoped a family of mice that snuck into her apartment, and named them "Rat Now, "Rat Away" and "Rat Over There." I'll always remember her with true fondness and admiration. She truly left the world a better place. RIP Rosie.

Rosie looked like a happy person and the world need more people like her. It was a loss for us all but the hope to see her again is clear according to what Jesus said at John 11: 25. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Rosie,
I will remember you always. Many of your beautiful works of art grace my walls as well as my children's. In fact, they fight over them! I had so much fun serving with you in the Atlanta Humane Society Auxiliary. I will treasure your memory and friendship always just as my family and I treasure your beautiful and unique works of art that we are lucky to possess. Your spirit resides there as well. Rest in peace, dear fellow animal friend.

Words come to mine, genuine, authentic, kind, funny, and talented are but a few adjectives applicable to this sweet soul. For several years, I had the good fortune to be her neighbor. Memories are forever, journey on.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring you some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

I know from experience that no matter how well I thought I knew Rosie, she always surprised me. I think she would want congratulations for herself, and she certainly deserves them for a life well-lived at a time when it was not easy for a woman to succeed as an independent artist. Those of us she leaves behind will miss her, but we will also have her paintings and our memories to sustain us.
Congratulations Rosie, and sympathy to all those who join me in missing her.
