Mary Forsyth
10/27/1928 - 2/14/2016


Mary passed away peacefully after 87 amazing years of life. Born and raised in the small coal mining town of Coaldale, Pennsylvania. Mary was one of seven children.
She graduated from Coaldale High School with a scholarship to nursing school. She moved to Philadelphia where she graduated from nursing school then moved to California to begin her career, which lasted for 40 years. Her last place of employment was Auburn Faith Hospital in Auburn, Calif.
Mary met and married Chuck Forsyth in 1952 and they spent the next 64 years together. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband Chuck, daughters Rhonda and Roxanne, son Chuck and his wife Bobbi Jo, three granddaughters Alexandra, Stephanie and Angela, great-granddaughter Violet and several nieces and nephews.
No service is planned at this time.

Chuck, I'm so sorry for your and the family's loss of sweet Mary. She was very helpful in Russ getting hired by Auburn Faith in '77. Forever grateful. She was so nice and sweet.

Sorry to hear of Mary's passing.
She lived a good and long life and gave everyone a lot of love, but I know that when ones mom dies it always leaves a big hole. My best thoughts are with you.
