I got to know Clint through the shared employee progam at work. I work at Plant Farley in Alabama and worked with Clint when he came during our outages. I met a lot of people from Plant Vogtle and Plant Hatch and I can honestly say that Clint was my favorite shared employee to work with. He was all the time joking and doing magic tricks. He was always in a good mood and smiling.....even at three o'clock in the morning soaking wet in the bottom of a water condenser we had to clean. He was a hard worker, just like his father said. Clint and I had talked about getting together to play a round of golf, but never did. I wish I would have made a little more time and got out and played that round with him. It's something that I will always regret. If this message is read by any of Clint's relatives please know that there are many people that you've never had a chance to meet that are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Clint and we are praying for the family and especially for his children. Always With You

Your heart may be heavy and aching,

Now that I'm no longer here.

But, though you may shed many tears,

Let memories banish your fear.

My arms are no longer around you.

My lips cannot speak of my love.

But, I'm with you in spirit each day,

As I look down from Heaven above.

The house may be silent without me.

It doesn't mean I can't be there.

And, every night that you sleep,

Our love, in your dreams, we still share.

As you continue, alone on earth,

I'll be with you each step of the way.

I can still be the strength that you need,

To carry you through each new day.

Although, I know you can't see me,

Our spirits are joined as before.

So, whenever you feel uplifted,

Know it's me just loving you more.

In Heaven, we're given a gift

To still tend to the ones left behind.

So, smile when you think of me.

I remain in your heart and your mind.

We are so deeply saddened by your loss of such a special person as Clint. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of grief. Jesus said" Let not your hearts be troubled, you believe in God believe also in me. There are many rooms in my Father's house and I am going to prepare a place for you. If it were not so I would tell you. When everything is ready I will come and get you so that you will always be with me where I am." May the words of our Lord and Savior comfort you during this time of sorrow. Clint is with the Master now.

In Christ,

John, Donna, Hannah and Mady Bearden

We are still in shock over the tragic loss of Clint. He was truly a wonderful person! We will have many memories to look back on. I came to know Clint real well during my last year's of high school - I was one of the baseball managers(bat girl, water girl, etc..) and Clint was an outstanding teammate, as usual. He always seemed to find a way to make those days special. After graduation, I met and married Mark, who also knew Clint well. The years that followed were filled with practice, after practice - softball game, after softball game -and tournament, after tournament!! Those were some of the most memorable moments both Mark and I have of Clint. We will cherish them forever!! We have lost a great friend - but gained so much more by knowing him. May God see your family through this difficult time. Our prayers are with you all!

Please acccept our sincere sympathy in the loss of your beloved Clint.

In addition to his many years involved in WBCRD, we can remember Clint visiting in our home with our son, Sam Goodin, in Waynesboro and how they laughed and seemed to have so much fun. There is no doubt that he enjoyed life to the fullest and we enjoyed having him in our home through his friendship with Sam. He was truly a fine young man and always a gentleman.

Even though we do not live in Waynesboro anymore, the people there are still very special to us.

We were very saddened to learn of this tragedy and please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all and especially his young children. May God grant you strength from day to day and even though we are not there to express our sympathy in person, please know we are there in spirit.

Love and Prayers,

Weep not for me

now that I have passed.

Remember the laughter, the affection, the joy

not just the recent tears.

Cherish the memories, our hopes and dreams.

Hold fast to the love that we shared.

Be happy with the time we spent together

and being anew.

For I am not really gone,

I am closer than ever before.

As the morning sun rises

and throughout the busy day...I am with you.

Until the setting sun disappears on the horizon

and we watch the day turn into night...I am here.

You may feel a faint breeze stir round your head, while you slumber

as I gently kiss your forehead, "Good night."

The stars that shine so brightly in my heavenly sky

help me watch over you and keep you from harm.

I am the wind in the trees

and the song of a bird.

I am moonbeams in a midnight sky

and a glorious rainbow after the storm.

I am morning dew

and freshly-fallen snow.

I am a butterfly flying overhead

and a puppy happily at play.

I am a smile on a stranger's face

a gentle touch

a warm embrace.

Listen to the wind for my message of love.

Watch the sun rise and set in the sky with me.

Feel my essence encircle you with warm memories.

Open your heart to know...I am not gone.

Reach deep into your soul...You will find me.

I am here.

Have no fear.

I am with you,

Always.

I am very sorry for the loss of your loved one. May God be with you all.

To all of Clint's family:

My thoughts & prayers are with you all. I have a lot of fun memories of Clint. From the old hunting club & Rec Dept days to the Montana trip...he was our chauffer for a lot of the trip. I remember begging him to let us stop & look at the grasshoppers. He will now be Jordan, Heather & the new baby's special angel to watch over them. Again, my thoughts & prayers are with you all.

I will always remember Clint's enlightening smile and the love he showed for everyone. May God comfort you in your time of need.

' When I must leave You '

When I must leave you for a little while,

Please do not grieve and shed tears

And hug your sorrows through the years

But start out bravely with a gallant smile,

And for my sake and in my name

Live and do all things the same

Feed not your loneliness on empty days

But fill each waking hour in useful ways

Reach out your hands in comfort and in cheer

And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near

And NEVER NEVER be afraid to die

For I am waiting for you in the sky
