Dear Aunt Anita,
I will always remember my childhood days with the Sasscers, especially around Christmas time. I was never left out with Grandpa and Grandma Sasscer, there was always a little something there for me when they gave out to their own grandchildren. Uncle Bernie's brothers and their wives became my Aunts and Uncles. Of course, Marcia, Bobby, Barry and Mark became my cousins. Please know that Marcia and Bobby should not feel alone. They still have all of us (you know who we are) for their family. They can call on us at any time. Marcia and Bobby have now become my sister and brother. We are still a strong family. Let everyone there in heaven know that we say hello and we love everyone very much.
Love Always,
Maureen, Jim, Burt, Ross and Hailey

My Aunt Anita:
I am so glad we were able to spend some time together while my children were growing up. I remember Whitley's first birthday party, and you gave me hell for not letting her open a little box which had earrings in it for pierced ears. She did not have pierced ears though. You also asked Tony if he knew the "bombinos" (sp?). We have it on video and watched it while we were preparing for thanksgiving dinner on thanksgiving eve just before you passed. You had a way about you to make me laugh. I love you and will miss you terribly. I will always remember wonderful and fun times with you, my little fashion statement. Tell everyone up above I said "hello."
