Karen,
The love you and Raymond had for one another is something I always use as an example in my own marriage. You've taught me not to take the time we have for granted and to never sweat the small stuff. Love You!

Karen and Family....RayRay was one of a kind and like all of you, I think about him, my conversations with him and his beautiful smile, all the time. I thank God for the time he allowed RayRay to be with us. I pray that as time passes, and we continue to think of RayRay, the tears of saddness we still have will turn into tears of joy.

Raymond though I never had the chance to meet you personally your love shines daily through your wife. She is evidence that you were her rib and your continue to live through her & your girls. Your transition has been bittersweet as you are no longer here with those who greatly loved you in the flesh. But I have also witness the strenghth of a woman emerge that I dont know if many possess. Even in your passing you continued to give because her faith grew, her strength was stretched but not snapped, were she lacked understanding her trust increased. Because you covered her as her PRIEST, PROVIDER, & PROTECTOR you deposited enough in her to carry on. Thank God for Raymond for being a godly example of a husband.

Peace and Blessings to you and your Family Karen. I have to admit that I only met Raymond one time but his kindness and joyful spirit will last forever through everyone he has ever encountered. He is still a living role model to me of how a loving father and husband should be through our brief talks but those moments will last a lifetime. Raymond, you will be missed but you are in a better place.

Raymond...I never loved someone as much as I love you. My heart and soul aches because you are not here. Letting you go was the hardest decision in my entire life, but with GOD in the equation, it gave me peace. We have the AGAPE love that did not end with your last breath in my ear or your heartbeat stopping when I held you in my arms. I've always felt your love for me while you were here and even now. I yearn for you everyday. Everyday, I hear our wedding song in my head, "Everytime I close my eyes I thank the LORD that I've got you". I thank the LORD that our paths crossed, fell in love, married with kids, lived happily, and loved unconditionally. You left a legacy of love, strength, and wisdom with our kids, but a heartprint in my life! I will love you always until death do us part and beyond. Always & forever, your loving wife. P.S. You were my angel, too!

Raymond what a friend I had in you. You were an amazing person. Your transition from earth to glory has grieved me, but I know you are in a better place. You left a impact on everyone who you came into contact with. I can still hear the way you laughed and see the smile that was always on your face.

I'm praying for Karen and the children that God will strengthen them. I promise to keep in touch with her and visit her when I come to Baltimore. I'm going to finish the cd we talked about I know you would be proud.I'm going to close for now, but I'll write again. Love and miss you my brother my friend.

Sister Karen Bass and Family,
Words cannot express the deep sense of loss you are feeling right now. Brother Ray was one of a kind and can never be replaced. He had a heart of Gold and was dedicated, loyal and protective of his family.

Karen, May the Peace of Christ rest with you and with the Mother of Raymond as well as his sisters. Rejoice that our brother does not have to suffer anymore in his flesh. Brother Ray now rejoices and is reunited with his beloved sister -- and rests in the bosom of Jesus. Behold, for all things are new!

In Christian Love,
Danny and Mary Ann Johnson

Sis, Karen and family,
Only God can provide the comfort to heal your hearts through this difficult time but know you have praying friends that will keep you in their hearts and minds. Now he truly has the abundant life. This life,on earth, is just a preparation for the greater, eternal life that we will lead with God. While he will be missed (especially his smile that I can remember even though I only met him briefly) know that all that happens is for God's glory and our own good. He wishes only the best for all of us. I love you and will be praying for you as you have done for me and my family too. Love you. Keep your head up and that pretty smile Im so used to be blessed by.

Your STCF family,
Alyse
