Shirley's anniversary is near my birthday so it is easy to recall her passing. In December 2018, her buddy and traveling companion Margaret passed away. Now. they are together again on the eternal road trip seeing everything they always wanted to see. Along with Ann, their co-worker, these 3 musketeers are enjoying the high life. Way to go ladies.

Shirley and I first met while working at Social Security in 1973. I was the youngster whose name she couldn't recall; so she referred to me early-on as "that tall guy". Subsequently we became good friends, despite the fact she thought I wrote so small she needed a flashlight and magifying glass to read my notes. I am proud to have known her, worked with her and to have helped celebrate her retirement. God's speed and good wishes to you, Shirley.
Your friend, Greg
