Although many years have passed since Bill´s passing, I find I still think about Bill often. His wonderful sense of humor. Bill was liked very much amongst his co-workers. He always made going to work a little easier, his wit and sharp mind would always make the day a little better. My heart goes out to his family and friends, I wish we still had Bill in our life´s to make the day just a little bit brighter, a little bit better. Missed but not forgotten.

12 years ago, sigh! The conversations and hours of laughs are still deep memories from and with Bill. I had the pleasure of working, as a colleague, with you in your last 10 years if your life. Your imprint in my life still remains. For others that knew a different side of Bill, please note that his unique vision was a great blessings to those of us who were exploring and trying to figure out the True meaning of Life.
May all connected to this man and his soul be happy today as we celebrate his spirit that touched us all for too short of a time.
Bill’s zest for traveling and seeing new areas still lives within me, as I try to always see something off the beaten path, Thanks to his coaxing and deep curiosity to find the pulse of an person, area and or community.

Although this entry is 90 days after the death of one of " My " most influential people in my life; It seems appropriate to share how, I will miss will him as well.
I had the absolute pleasure to work with Bill btwn 1998-2001, where he helped families by assisting in transplant surgeries at the MD Transplant Center.
Each morning before work, Bill would sit at his desk and read the obituaries( while drinking coffee) and he would discuss the interesting stories of the people that had passed the night prior. This may sound strange to some, but If you gave Bill a chance, this showed his true caring and interest in human beings from birth to their death bed.
We often discussed what would be written about us in the newspapers, if we were to leave this earth early.
This is perhaps, why I wanted to add this addendum to his death notice.
Bill was fascinated by everyone old and young, affluent and not so fortunate.
I must say a few things about his career history as well. I will include the obscure fact that he told me that he drove a bread truck after his high school years. I recall this from the stories about he and his Best Friend Allen; which every time brought share joy to his face, while he recanted those [Good Ole Days.]
William Miller III, also spent time in the funeral business and learned to respect the sanctity of life. He assisted others, while breaching the subject of death and helped so many families over the years become at peace, with their loved ones moving into the spirit world.
Although he never got paid for it, Bill was a Human GPS. He could and would formulate the fastest (with alternates) routes to any location in MD or anywhere in the country for that matter. He also would have great stops along the way, to see something off the beaten path, as well.
Bill had an amazing mind that explored so many avenues and subjects. His reading of literally everything from local & national telephone books to his most favorite subject; Mobsters and Gangsters were all in his personal library. His extensive reference books of surgery and anatomy were also amongst his favorites, squeezed next to his atlas & maps.
Bill as you look down upon us, You know that I Love You and I will continue to cherish the things that you taught me, which includes:
*How too squeal my tires on my truck.
*How to listen to the planes as they approached on runways 11 & 15 @ BWI. {Which, BTW is probally the best park in all of America, where the planes fly right above your head.}
*How to get the best camping sites in the MD State Parks.
* Where Ms. size 2 (Toni Braxton) grew up in Servena Park.
*To see the beauty of the old cemetaries in Baltimore.
***************************
More than anything getting over the fear of loving again. Bill you were exactly right, Tanja is the right one for me and I am glad that I listened to You...It has been 9 yrs now of complete happiness.
As you would say, " By for now".

My heart goes out to the entire family at such a sudden loss. I have known Bill since 1974. Between the fire department, my first wedding and seeing him 10 years ago at a doctors appointment, he always had a smile on his face and could make anyone laugh. Bill you will be deeply missed.

My Uncle Bill was one of the greatest men I ever knew. Nothing made me smile so much or laugh so hard then when I joked with him. We called eachother often and made promises to visit eachother and stay in touch but as time went on we drifted apart. Because we did so doesnt mean I loved him any less, he was the father I never had in my life and someone who meant the world to me.

It's always a tragedy when someone so young dies suddenly. But it is especially tragic since Bill, Donna and Doug had just started such a wonderful life together. Bill was such a gentle soul and he was so thoughful and caring. He will certainly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
