Mr. Weatherford was there for me and my children when my mom passed. Other family members were trying to sabotage the funeral the day before, but he made it be known as he helped us through this tough time. Mr. Weatherford found a church to have the service and cut the funeral cost in half. What a blessing. I never forgot this moment. I will forever thank you sir. R.I.P

I was very shocked to hear of the sudden death of Mr. Weatherford. I was fortunate to meet him in Atlanta 2010, at The National Funeral Directors and Morticians Convention. I had just recently started my own funeral home in Flint, Michigan. He gave me great words of encouragement. What a great loss for the profession and the Baltimore community. Prayers to the family.

sorry for the lost of your son, phillip was so sweet he burried my dad; uncle; and grand dad, which neither had insurance, but with phillip kind heart he found a way to help my family threw the tought times. I ride pass the funeral home everyday smh so sad rest in peace phillip

My family prayers are with you and your family during this time. Mr. Weatherford funeralized our mother in August 2006. He was so gentle, kind and understanding to our family. I was so moved by the care we received, that I knew if needed I would utilize his services again. Our hearts are heavy.

I knew Phil years ago from working together at the old Liberty Medical Center. He was just starting his journey into becoming a mortician at that time, and to hear of his death was truly a shock. I pray that the place God has prepared for him is as beautiful as he was.

I have never met anyone as peaceful as Phil. Phil and I worked @ Mercy Medical Center and Bon Secours together for years. When Phil left Mercy, he continued to stay in contact with me. When my daughter graduated from high school, Phil rented a car and we drove all the way to Columbia, SC to take my daughter to Allen University. Phil decided that once we dropped her off and got her settled, we would stop in NC to see his Mom and Dad before heading back to Baltimore. I know Phil is a child of God because of his peaceful and kind heart to those who knew him. Phil, I know you are resting in peace because Your Father needed you Home with Him. Rest my brother, Rest in Peace. I will surely miss you for now, but we will meet again.

To the Weatherford Family,
I met Phillip Weatherford at Saint Agnes Hospital through his Mother. What a Blessing to have met such a loving soul. I got the pleasure of seeing him again about one year ago when I came to view the remains of a co-worker (Joan Wheeler) that he had done such a marvellous job on. Estelle we worked together a long time and my sympathy goes out to you and your husband for the loss of your son. I know that God have both of you resting in his "Loving Arms" and he will comfort you like no other. It's okay to cry because that is part of your healing. May God Bless you both and your family and know that Phillip is at peace now.
