James Dubel Obituary
James (Jim) Miles Dubel, 63, beloved son of the late Helen Miles Dubel and Robert Young Dubel, died peacefully at Stella Maris Hospice on March 30, 2016, Jim was the "big brother" of Kenneth Young Dubel, Rebecca Dubel Snodderly, the late Jeanne Dubel Byrd, and the late Jeffrey Young Dubel. He expressed special love for his nieces and nephews, Brett Robert Dubel, Zachary Steven Dubel, Kirsten Roza Byrd, Kyle Robert Snodderly, Morgan Jeanne Snodderly, Ross Xavier Snodderly, and Max Young Snodderly. A memorial service in celebration of Jim's life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Great Hall of the Glen Meadows Retirement Community, 11630 Glen Arm, MD 21057. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Glen Meadows Scholarship Fund will be welcomed. Contributions may be sent to Ms. Nancy Pegues, U17, at the above address, arrangements made by: Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, www.burrier-queen.com

Jim and I were good friends during our college years and beyond; we lost touch when I relocated to Colorado. I have many fond memories of his wit and intelligence. My prayer is that he is experiencing a wonderful peace.
