Deepest Sympathy to the family of Aaron Dottery. Aaron has been a true friend and a very big help to me in the last year and a half that I have been at Academy Place. He always was willing to extend a helping hand whenever I needed one whether it was carrying groceries or needing something done, he was available for me. He has been a friend to all who knew him and always made sure that I was safely in the building if I had to be out late in the evening. He will surely be missed and actually...

Can’t believe he is no longer with us here at Academy Place! He was a friend to all and always making sure that we were ok coming into our building; always offering to lend a hand! He is already missed dearly. Deepest sympathy to the family.

Aaron “Jeter” Dottery

Aaron “Jeter” Dottery age 76, a native of Natchez, Mississippi and resident of Houma, LA. was born on July 21, 1948, and entered eternal rest on Wednesday April 23,2025. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00am Friday, May 02, 2025, at Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home, 617 Bond St, Houma LA 70360. He is survived by his children: Audra (Kevin) Teamer, Rontel Jackson (Lucell, Jr.) Hopes and Orlando (Monique) Dottery, Sherryl, Danny (Terri) and Anthony (Stephanie) Mahoney all of Houston, TX and 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mahoney Dottery, his son, Mike Mahoney, siblings; Steve, Ernestine and Sam Dottery, Parents and Grandparents.
