Not sure what to say?

To the family, I extend my condolences and sympathy. Abraham will always a gentleman. His kindness and friendship will be missed by many. Sincerely, Mary S. Tucker

Mrs. Maven,
We send condolences to you and the family. May memories of Mr. Maven live long in your hearts. May God keep you strong.

You will be truly missed my good Kappa brother. Rest in peace and power.

I'd like to extend my deepest sympathy to Mrs. Maven, Al, Alicia and Tee! I know you will truly feel the void of Mr. Maven's presence. I didn't see him as often, but whenever I did, he always greeted me with a smile, a warm hug and "sung" my name-and that meant so much. I can remember visiting and I could hear him steadying around outside and he'd be washing my car. It became a joke that whenever my car needed washing, I'd just come visit The Mavens. It even made me smile to see him in...

My family sends our deepest sympathy to the family of Abraham Maven. Mr. Maven was a wonderful neighbor for over 46 years. We have talked about yards and planting for the coming summer, raised our children, celebrated graduations and births, enjoyed going to sports for our kids and grandkids, waved at one another at the CIAA, and of course talked about basketball and VSU. He was a great neighbor, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a good man. He will be missed.

Inez,
My deepest sympathy on the death of your husband. You were one of my mother’s ( Marie Nicholson Swann) dear friends in Portsmouth. On behalf of my family I send our condolences to you and your family.

Mrs. Maven,

May God bless you and your family in this
time of sorrow.

Condolences to the family of Brother Maven, as his porch light was cut on, God said, it's time to come home and take your rightful seat next to me while strolling on the celestial shores of heaven rest in eternal peace

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Coach Maven was good man gone too soon REST IN PEACE ANDPOWER.
