Patricia M. Garoppolo1933 - 2025Patricia "Pat" M. Garoppolo, 92, of Manchester, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 28, 2025. A lifelong resident of Manchester, Patricia was born on May 26, 1933, in Hartford, Connecticut.Pat attended St. James School and graduated from Mount St. Joseph Academy, West Hartford, CT, in 1951 and went on to graduate from Hartford Secretarial School in 1952.She married her loving husband, John, on August 5, 1978, and together they shared 47 beautiful years of marriage.Pat was proud of her career, working as a Senior Examiner for the Public Utilities Commission in earlier years and then as an Office Manager/Administrative Assistant to the Principal at Manchester High School in her later years before retiring in 1990. Pat was also an Administrative Assistant with the Manchester Scholarship Foundation from 1990-1999, as well as a past President of the Ladies of St. James, and a Treasurer of the Manchester Lions Club.Besides Patricia's husband John, she is survived by their children, Catherine Kodes and her husband Jay Kehoe, David Garoppolo and his wife Kim, Ruth Spellman and her husband David; her grandchildren Theresa LeBeau and her husband Patrick, Jason Garoppolo and his wife Sou, Gregory Garoppolo and Calena Garoppolo, and great-grandchildren Aidan, Aubrey, Anthony, Adriana, Isabella, Anabell and Taylor.Relatives and friends are invited to the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center Street in Manchester on Monday, October 6th from 5-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 7th at 11 a.m. at Assumption Church, 27 Adams Street S. in Manchester (please meet directly at church).
