Agatha Lionello 

“Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother” 

Mrs. Agatha M. (Bosco) Lionello, 89 of Oakville, formerly a long time resident of North Main Street Waterbury, passed away peacefully, Monday June 24, 2019 in the VITAS Inpatient Unit at Saint Mary's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved widow of William Lionello.

Aggie was born August 19, 1929 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Sebastiano and Mary (DiMaria) Bosco. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. Aggie worked at the Timex Corporation for over 35 years retiring in 1991. She later worked at Chase Parkway Memorial a job she truly enjoyed until 2003 when her husband Billy took ill. She was a long time communicant of Saint Lucy Church. She liked cooking, crocheting, bingo and playing cards and most importantly spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Jennifer whom she lived with for many years.

She leaves her son, William Lionello Jr. and his wife Maria of Wallingford, her daughter, Donna Ramonas and her husband David of Oakville, her grandchildren Theodore Lionello, Jennifer Boll, David Ramonas Jr., as well as several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Patricia “Patty Bosco of Waterbury and Cynthia Bosco of Waterbury, formerly of Wolcott. She was predeceased by three brothers Joseph, Michael, and Francis Bosco.

Aggie’s family would like to thank the staff at VITAS and her caregiver Miriam for their kindness and support.

Arrangements: Funeral Wednesday 10 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury CT 06708 to Saint Lucy Church to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hour will be held Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
