Bud was an amazing person, he was a free spirit and loving, always fun to be around. Had great stories to tell, also he'd listen to you. I'm going to miss you soo much. I love you, rest easy. I'll see you again one day!

Bud always had a smile on his face every time I would visit and was genuinely glad to see you. He was willing to help anyone and was truly kind hearted. You will be missed. I am so very thankful that I was able to sit and chat with you one last time. Rest in peace Bud. Our deepest condolences to the Stamper family. Prayers of peace for all.

I'm so sad to hear that Bud passed.
He was such a sweet kind hearted person who lioved life.
Bud was my cousin, but he grew up with my Mom and her brothers and sisters so I considerd him my uncle.
My first favorite memories of Bud would be when he worked for a company that he would pick of photos for business like CVS, and deliver them to stores daily.
This was late 70's early 80"s and of course I back then they didn't have one hour phot's prints.

Albert Lee "Bud" Stamper, Sr., age 66, of Bronston, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.Albert was born on February 9, 1950 in Lee County, KY to the late Molly Stamper and Albert Hamilton. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a kind hearted man and a friend to everyone. He is survived by his wife, Georgina Stamper; two sons, Albert Lee (and Stephanie) Stamper of Somerset and Adam Stamper of Somerset; two sisters, Patricia Abercrombie of Connersville, Ind. and Bobbie Fugate of Clay Hole, KY; and four grandchildren, Abby Stamper, Jacob (and Reanna) Stamper, Ally Stamper and Seth Samper.Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Abercrombie; one sister, Charlene King; and his grandmother, Georgia Combs who raised him.Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 after 5:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. Another visitation will be on Wednesday, August 3, 206 after 6:00pm at Engle-Bowling Funeral Home in Hazard.His funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 10:00am at Engle-Bowling Funeral Home in Hazard. Burial will be at the Government Cemetery in Buckhorn, Kentucky.
