Albert L. Cantrell, Sr.

Cantrell, Albert L. Sr, of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born February 24, 1937 in Vandalia, Missouri, to Jesse and Goldie Mae (nee Eskew) Cantrell, and entered into rest, Saturday, January 28, 2012, at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 4 days.He is preceded in death by his parents, and six (6) siblings, the late Helen Shepherd, the late Brenda Wright, the late Amos Cantrell, the late Shirley Cantrell, the late Hazel Cantrell, and the late William Cantrell.He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth A. (nee Spangler) Cantrell, married January 14, 1960,four (4) children, Vernon J. (Thelma) Spangler, of Owensville, Missouri, Kathleen M. Ivy, of St. James, Missouri, Albert L. Cantrell Jr., of De Soto, Missouri, and Steven W. (Marketa) Cantrell, of St. Clair, Missouri,eight (8) grandchildren, David "Ralph", Vernon Jr., Alisha, Amy, Paul, Rebecca, Steven II, and Michael,nine (9) great grandchildrenone (1) sibling, Jesse Cantrell, of San Antonio, Texas,and many other relatives and friends. Albert enjoyed fishing, auctions and yard sales. However his fondest moments were spent with his family. He is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial Visitation Tuesday, February 7, 2012, from 12 until 2 p.m., Memorial Service will be follow. Located at Chapel Hill Mortuary, in Cedar Hill, Missouri.
