Albert George Dennler, 99, passed away peacefully at his home on July 11, 2025. Albert was born and raised in Chicago. He was a proud veteran of World War II who served in France and Germany and earned a Purple Heart for his service. Albert worked in a variety of occupations throughout his life, but being a grandpa was his favorite job of all. After retirement, Albert enjoyed working in his garden, watching a good sports game, and chatting with friends over coffee and a donut at Dunkin Donuts in River Grove.
Albert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maryann, his three children, Michael Dennler, Roseanne Dennler, and Jennifer Dennler, his beloved grandchild, Liliana Rain, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ida May Dennler, and his siblings, Warren Dennler, Ruth Sams, Berniece Matthews, Calvin Dennler, and the twins, Arthur, Jr. and Alfred Dennler.
A memorial service will be held at Belmont Funeral Home located at 7120 W. Belmont, Chicago, IL 60634 on Thursday, July 24th from 5-7pm.
