I knew Mr. Hatfield when I was a caregiver for him. He was so sweet and always had a smile for everyone. I remember how he loved his coffee. I know he will be dearly missed.

Albert Willie Hatfield, 94, of Nocona, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Henrietta, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026 at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Medley, officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Bluegrove, Cemetery in Bluegrove, Texas under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Henrietta.
Willie was born on June 15, 1931 to the late Albert R. and Goldie (Masten) Hatfield in Montague County. He attended school in Henrietta, Texas and later met the love of his life, Betty Jane Lowry. The couple married on September 29, 1951 in Bluegrove, Texas where they made their home. The couple was blessed by three children. Willie proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War Era, and served in Korea as a medic. After his military service, Willie was a hardworking ranch hand for a local ranch. He will be missed by many family and friends.
Along with his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; grandson, Jonathan Hatfield; three brothers, Donald Hatfield, Bobby Hatfield and Jimmy Hatfield; and a sister, Inez Adams.
He is survived by son, Scottie Hatfield and wife, Becky of Bryson; two daughters, Mickey Olivares of Alice, Texas and Kim Everett of Arlington, Texas; three sisters, Helen Harris and husband, Dewey of Wichita Falls, Jeraldine Maddox and husband, Darwin of Henrietta, Texas and Patsy Curtright of Apache, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
