Not sure what to say?

Al , and I were Good Friends! Renee , My Wife , Vincent Michael , Our Son Lived in Brownsville , Mn from 1986 until 2011 when Vince Graduated from Caledonia High School ! Vince was real good Friends with Albert Jr , and Andrew ! Albert Jr would spend Hours Playing with Vince ! They Played T Ball , Pee Wee's and Little League together ! They would jump on Vince's Trampoline , and later Albert Jr , and Andrew purchased a Trampoline ! They would take turns having sleepovers when they were...

I had many great memories at St. Mary's school and youth soccer in Caledonia with Albert. He was always there to support his two boys. I'll never forget hearing him from the sidelines with his distinct German accent, learning a few german words between games, and hearing about the "Kilger's Four Seasons". You have my prayers and sympathy. -Travis Frank

We visited with Al in the clinic last fall and he shared his good spirit and smile. We have known the Kilger brothers since Leo was chief at the Party House (1964). Going to the Four Season's was always a treat. All our sympathy and prayers.

Met Al in late 1973 when we discovered the Four Seasons Restaurant. We struck up a deep friendship with the brothers, though we mostly socialized at the restaurant. They sort of adopted our kids over the years, hiring our son in the kitchen, mentoring his cooking abilities. Out deepest sympathies to Joan and the boys. Albert and I skied many times together and would have some deep conversations. Sure will miss this man. R. I. P. Al.

Worked with Al and his brother Leo at Kilgers Four Seasons. I was from Hokah. I was able to pay my Viterbo College bill with the good tip money I made. I would run into Al off and on over the years and we would laugh about the lessons learned in the kitchen. He was very proud of his sons. Sorry for your loss. Sheila (Scholze) Bolduan

Auf Wiedersehen mein Freund ... bis wir uns wieder sehen. My deepest sympathies to Joan and the boys. I will cherish the memories of many evenings at the restaurant and afternoons on the ski hill.

Our deepest sympathy to Al's family members. We had many interesting and fun discussions with Al at Saxon Hall and Wildcat saloon in Brownsville over the past several years. He will be greatly missed!

will miss having a beer with al in brownsville.lots of good conversations.
