Peggy words can't express how terrible I felt to hear of Al's passing. I will never forget his good naturedness & jokes. Enjoyed you having us over on your porch so much. Always felt welcome. He definitely was one of a kind. My prayers will be with you and family in all the days to come.

Peggy, I am so sorry for this terrible loss for you all your family and also for all the people Al affected throughout his life. Weve been long distance friends since you moved to NC but have always remained closer than that through love. Al had a heart and way to express his sincere feelings that many cannot and whenever we were able to see each other, he made me feel like the years apart didn't exist and I thank you both for the friendship that will never end.

Growing up in Plainview was a lot of fun, I am very thankful that we kept in touch over the years, not many people keep in touch, I enjoyed our calls and reminiscing our younger days. Rest in peace buddy. I will miss you. Your buddy, Bob

I met Al in 2015. For 6 years, I processed his invoices for the City of Wilmington. I knew from the start Al was the real deal and very special. He was kind and he got the job done.

The best cousin ever. So much fun when we were kids, with you and Angelo. I am so glad we got to see you and Peggy , with my sister Kay and cousins Rita and Diana. Rest in peace . Love you forever. Rudy and Bernice

Uncle Al, you are truly one of a kind! I will cherish every memory, laughing of course. My favorites were visiting you and Aunt Peggy at Stock and Barrel and our family get togethers were THE BEST!! You will be greatly missed! Please watch over the family, and stay out of trouble lol, give everybody big big hugs up there!
