Not sure what to say?

Uncle Albert you were like a second father to me. I missed you so much when you left Sunny Glen I thought you would stay with me forever. So sad, Every one here at Sunny Glen misses you so much, extremely sad that you went with the angels. You will be missed by all. they all loved you and loved seeing you at the parties, especially when you were Santa at the Christmas party, I was shocked when I saw you as Santa, but they talked you into it and you thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the many...

Rest In Peace Al Sr. You are now with your loving wife.
Loving thoughts to Al, Barnes and families . God bless you all

Praying for the new Angel in the foursome in the Sky... you will be missed greatly... I will always remember how you and Auntie Lora left a "tip" on my nightstand after an overnight stay as if it were a hotel... Also, how excited you were every time there was a new addition to the family... You were always a pleasure to talk to... Full of Life, Full of Love, Full of Compassion, and Great Stories...
God Bless you With Love Always...
Jacki, Franki, and Junior!

Al, Barnes and families,

I am so sorry for your loss. Al was a very sweet person. I am so blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad time.

Love always, Vickie Charbonneau

Obituary

Albert's Obituary

Albert George Villa Sr peacefully passed away July 3 2018, he was 87.  Al was born in Oakland CA April 17 1931 to the late Gesonimo and Irene (Rico) Villa.  Albert is survived by his only son, Albert ‘Alby’ (Barnes) Villa Jr of Jackson CA; grandchildren, Tony (Rita) Perez, Nina (Jeff) Slaats, Matthew Ricca and Jason Ricca; great grandchildren, Ava Perez, Logan and Jordan Slaats, and Hayden Ricca. Al is also survived by his sister, Irene Newby of Sacramento. We extend very special gratitude to his niece, Virgie Magalhaes for all her love and concern of Uncle.

In 1948, at the age of 17, Al married the love of his life Lora Hernandez (preceded in death 2003); they were loving friends in marriage for 55 years. Al worked in the cement business as a truck driver at Walkers Concrete in Hayward CA for 35 years; he was commonly called ‘Bro’ within the Hayward/Bay Area construction business. Upon retiring, he and his wife relocated to Copperopollis to enjoy family boating on Lake Tulloch and barbecues…’How do you want your steak cooked?”…sweet thoughts however the meat was always burnt much to the dismay of his wife who worked so hard all of her life to provide their family delicious, homemade food.  Uncle will be sorely missed by his many nieces and nephews; everyone will miss his smiling face.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial mass on July 11 2018 at 11am at St Raymond’s Catholic Church 11555 Shannon Avenue Dublin CA; Celebration of Life will immediately follow at Brass Door 2154 San Ramon Valley Blvd San Ramon CA. Box 595, Jackson, CA  95642.
