Not sure what to say?

Such a good GOOD human! Straight forward and honest to a fault and I adored him for that! First one to help and quick tell you if you needed more help than you were letting on!
Al... you will be missed so much more than you would have ever imagined. Thank you for watching out for my young family as neighbors and for my business as a professional and friend. Sending so much love to your family.

I remember being in line behind Al at the ESU Hornet Express. He paid for my Coca-Cola without telling me. I worked at ESU with Al for about 20 years and enjoyed every minute of it. He was the godfather of all things electrical. Last time I saw him he was headed out to town to see his daughter and he told me he couldn't wait to get there. Shedding tears for this great guy! Sending love to your family.

Virginia, I met you and Al in 1981 when you hosted the Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group in your home and Mary and Anne were little girls. We share many wonderful memories that I cherish. Through the years, I felt joy when I'd see Al, receive a big hug, and then we'd have long discussions. He was so kind and caring. I will miss him here and look forward to seeing him again in Heaven!! Blessing and love, Patty

To Al, family, and friends,
What a GREAT Man! You will truly be missed. You always made time to ask how things were going whenever I seen you out at Bluestem over the years. You were of great help to myself and family as we were all younger then of course.
A Huge Thank you again Al for your service to our great country. It's people like you that have helped make America GREAT Everyday. God Bless you and all your family and friends. Rest in Peace Man!
Sincerely,...

We miss you big Al

Al worked with my late husband Mark Runge at ESU for many years. He did all electrical work on our house when it was built, and helped out with repairs whenever we needed in years after. Had wonderful sense of humor and compassion, even my sons remember him well. Often saw him at Commercial Street Diner. Was an asset to the Emporia community! RIP Al!
Sympathy and prayers for all the Ziesmer family .

worked with Al for 35 years up at ESU. He was a good man.

oh al, such a good man.
he would come into commercial st diner quite often. he was one of our regulars. we loved him and greeted him w a huge smile each time we saw him. he provided my coworker and i diapers and other supplies while we were pregnant. my heart dropped when i heard the news. may his soul rest in so much peace.

Rest in Peace Mr Albert Ziesmer. I loved hearing stories of you at my breakfasts with your Anne or seeing photos on FB of your quirky elvis glasses at the Nashville trip. You sounded like a fun loving man and your daughter loved you very much.
