Albert Severini was born in Mount Kisco, New York to Maria and Ernesto Severini on April 18th, 1929. He was one of four children.
Al lived in Mount Kisco for most of his life, graduating from Mount Kisco High School. Al was a general contractor and builder. He is responsible for the building of Ideal Electric Building and the Manhattanville Bank among other residential and commercial buildings in Mount Kisco.
He married Margaret Keon in 1951. Three sons, Robert, David and Gary came of this union.
Al was an avid golfer, traveling with his son David in the U.S. and abroad to pursue this passion. He also enjoyed playing golf at his winter residence in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. His son Robert remembers stories of him driving a stock car around a racetrack in Danbury, Connecticut. Al was extremely fond of his English Bulldog, Winston and deeply cared for animals. He served in the United States Army and was a member Wykagl Country Club in New Rochelle.
Al lived a life characterized by hard, earnest work and the desire to forge a good life for his family. His friends and family will remember him as an even-tempered, thoughtful and well-liked man, who lived a long and fulfilling life.
