Alec, your friendship turned into something much greater for me! You were a teammate, and a brother towards me! I loved how we had our stupid annoying inside jokes that nobody knew what we were talking about. Im so glad that over the past 10 years not only did we get to live together in the same house in the same room, but we also got to skate everywhere together and drive across the United States. I will forever miss how grumpy you would get when it was too cold outside or if your trucks...

He is truly missed he was so talented. So sorry for your loss.

Alec, you always had the Midas Touch, excelling in everything you did. While you were all the talents you displayed, to me you’re always be the little boy getting my bag from the car while asking “what did you bring me Aunt Allie.” I’m so proud of you and know you will continue to excel. ❤ Aunt Allie

Alec has a crazy tenacity that lets him break barriers. He was remarkable in that ever since we were kids. He was strongly driven by pushing his spirit further, rather than by material things. Because of this he was extremely selfless and respectful. I credit his mom for why he is such a pure person. I remember she made us go to sleep early .

I remember his first 4 stair kickflip at the Baptist Church. It was an absurd number of times he was landing primo and smashing the concrete...

Just wanted to express my condolences. I knew Alec thru my son RaShawn and he was a such a beautiful person. I know all too well the loss of a child, it is something you will never get over.

Joy there is nothing I can say, to take away the pain and sorrow in your heart, as well as Sondra’s, Chandler and all the family. I pray God to give you peace in your heart, surround you with His love and to comfort all of you. I love you.

I am so sorry for your loss! Alec was an incredible friend to my nephews Will Smith and Matt Bennett. He was deeply loved by them and their mother (my sister) Claire. I was lucky to meet him on many occasions when I visited family in Wilmington and he was always kind, friendly and welcoming. I could see what a good soul he was. He will be greatly missed, but also remembered. His positive impact on others will endure. Wishing peace and comfort to all who loved him.
