Alex's Obituary

Alex Barton Abbott, II, age 33, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 8:47 pm. He was a native of Cincinnati, OH and a resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, February 9, 2018 beginning at 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday, February 10, 2018 beginning at 8:00 am until the funeral service at 10:00 am. Burial will be held in Rogers Cemetery.

Alex is survived by his wife, Aimee Marie Breaux Abbott; daughters, Ariel Lavelle Abbott and Aslyn Alexandrya Abbott; mother, Carol Ann Abbott; stepfather, Jeffrey Temple; father-in-law, Steve Dupre and wife, Dina; sisters, Sonja Caudell and husband, Clifton, Alicia Abbott, Stephanie Sanders and husband, Allen, and Christa Spry; brother-in-laws, Tyler and Corey Dupre ; sister-in-law, Amber Ramsey.

Alex is preceded in death by his father, Alex Barton Abbott, Sr.; mother-in-law, Margo Dupre; grandfather, Roland Dominique Sr.; uncles, Roland Jr., Barry “Cooney” and Robert Dominique.

Alex was an Arborist. He was a member of the Southside Maniacs MC and was the founder of the Block Burners. He was an avid supporter of benefits for St. Jude’s Hospital and Foundation. He would ride for any cause for the children with his brothers. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
