Alexander S. Savicki, 94, formerly of Telford, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at LifeQuest Nursing Center in Milford Twp., PA. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to the late Alice J. Savicki who died in 2011.
Born in Scranton, PA, he was a son of the late Damazy and Anttonina Savicki.
A U.S. Navy veteran, he proudly served his country during WWII.
He was employed by Bethlehem Steel Company, and the Link-Belt Company as a mechanical engineer for many years.
Mr. Savicki was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Hatfield. In his free time he enjoyed tinkering with things, spending time with his family, hiking and enjoying nature.
He is survived by a daughter, Anne R. McKelvey and her husband Ralph of Lansdale, two sons: Christopher Savicki and his wife Lorraine of Telford, Alex Savicki of Las Vegas, NV, and five grandchildren.
A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford, PA 18969. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Warrington Twp. Family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Veterans Multi-Service Center, 213-217 N. 4th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
