Alfie, beloved wife and companion of Larry Eisele for over 57 years, passed at age 85 on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Arthur Clifton and Totsie Creech and brother Joel Creech. Loving mother of Deb (Heidi Geidner) Eisele, Michelle (Jim) Dean, Mike (Paula) Eisele and bonus daughter & friend Joanne Rook. Cherished Granny of Emily Dean (Demetrius), Jake (Katie) Eisele, Hanna (Tyler) Webster and Maggie Dean (Jason). Treasured Great Granny of Braylyn, Jayden, Easton and Charlotte. Dear sister of June McQuitty and Sisters-in-law Karen (late Joel) Creech, Judy (Bette Wismann) Eisele and Pat (Greg) Meinken. Devoted Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. She was blessed to call many others her friends.
Alfie was a domestic engineer for many years and later joined the team at Cincinnatus Savings and Loan in Cheviot, where her smiling face greeted many as a Teller and Receptionist for 30 years. Alfie enjoyed puzzles, bingo, game nights, and collecting statues of Mary and any angel. She loved planting flowers, traveling with Larry & family, geocaching, and going out to eat, especially to the "I don't care, you're driving" restaurants because she said "I can always eat"!
She loved her music, especially the 50's/60's classics and country. She played and sang along to that music often while she was doing housework. She rarely missed the chance to cheer or even "coach" her kids or grandkids during their sporting activities, even during the wiffleball games on the field worn into her backyard grass. Those games were terrifying to all of her statues that graced the yard. Rarely did one remain intact without a missing finger or smashed nose. Alfie's hidden love was as a hunter, a hunter of bargains. She loved any "Dollar" store and yard sale. She'd scour the papers during the week to prepare for hitting the sales on Saturday mornings. She'd tell Larry, "You'll see me when you see me" and out the door she went in search of her deals. And she missed her calling as the host of a show called Decorating, Especially for Any Holiday.
Above all Alfie was devoted to the Lord and her Catholic faith. Her faith gave her great strength to face challenges she faced in her life. It also granted her the love and appreciation she felt for her family. Her family meant everything to her and she would not miss any time when she could talk with or be near to them. She loved each in her own special way and our memories with her will continue to fill our heads and hearts. They will bring a smile to the face of anyone who remembers time spent with Alfie.
Visitation in her honor will be Thursday, May 22nd from 5:00pm-7:00pm with a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 7pm at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 5527 Cheviot Rd., 45247. Please bring a memory or short story to share about Alfie during the Celebration of Life.
Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Montgomery, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
