Alfred S. Gerlock

I knew Steve from my days as a secretary for Brick Township Public Schools and also as a neighbor from Driscol Drive. I was always impressed by his gentle demeanor and kind smile. Steve was always willing to lend a hand. He was a true “class act”. May he rest in peace

I don’t remember the year; early 50’s to be sure, when he came home from Air Force duty in Japan he brought me an electric train set (not Lionel), but a Japanese train set. My toddler- plus memory thought that was the greatest thing ever. And to this day I still do think that. And also, i couldn’t believe he married a school teacher. What a guy — My Uncle Steve!!! Miss you buddy. Condolences and my love to Susan and Teresa.
