Alice Elizabeth “Liz” Johnson, 71, of Navasota, Texas, passed away on July 12, 2025, in Houston, with loved ones by her side.

Born on August 25, 1953, in Houston, Texas, Liz was the beloved daughter of the late Alice Elizabeth “Beth” and Herbert Dean Henderson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Clint Pierce Johnson.

Liz had a long and fulfilling professional life, working for Continental Airlines, Exxon, and Deluxe Check Printers. Beyond her career, she found purpose and joy in service—both as an employee and a volunteer—at St. Mary Catholic Church in Plantersville and St. Joseph Catholic Mission in Stoneham, Texas.

She was a crafter of all sorts and especially enjoyed jewelry making, knitting, and crocheting. Liz was known for her kind heart, steadfast faith, and deep commitment to her community. She always had an open door and a helping hand for anyone in need.

She touched many lives with her generosity, warm spirit, and willingness to serve others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
