Grandma its been 3 years and i really miss u, my birthday is coming up and i wish u was there with me celebrating my 14th birthday.i really miss u and i love u.

Shaina, I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. I would see Alicia often when I worked at BHISD and I would always ask about you. She would flash that pretty smile and then catch me up on what you were doing. She was so proud of you. I know you're going to miss her, but I also know your wonderful memories will give you much comfort and peace in the days ahead, Sending love and thinking of you.

Alicia was a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul. She touched so many lives. She had a smile that would light up the night sky. Bshe will be missed by all whom had the honor of knowing her. My condolences to the family.

Alicia's Obituary

Alicia Coates Williams 51, of Anahuac, TX; gained her wings on June 11, 2019 surrounded by family. Services will be Saturday, June 22, 2019 at First Baptist Church Anahuac 405 S. Magnolia St.  Anahuac, TX. Visitation will begin at 11AM until Funeral at 1PM. Interment will be in Bayshore Cemetery Anahuac, TX.Alicia was born December 28, 1967 to Willie Lynn Coates and John D. Coates in Anahuac, TX. Alicia was preceded in death by her parents: Willie Lynn Coates and John D. Coates. Brother: Seth Humphrey and sister: Sandra Coates. Alicia attended Anahuac High School where she graduated in 1986. She worked for the Nursing Home and a Group Home Before finding her way to Barbers Hill ISD where she remained for 15 years.In the 9th grade Alicia met Kendrick Williams they later married and has been one for 25 years.  They both brought 1 child in the world (Shaina) where she later gave her 2 Granddaughters (Briosha and Kamarie). She loved her job at Barbers Hill where she kept everyone in line. Alicia loved doing her hair, shopping, playing bingo having a Bud Light and Pizza. Most of All her family was her everything. She was the rock of the family and the go to woman. She had a smile that would brighten up the day and loved dancing.Alicia leaves to cherish her memories to her husband: Kedrick Williams, Daughter: Shaina Coates Kirksey (Reggie) of Anahuac, TX. Grandchildren: Briosha Coates and Kamarie Coates. Siblings: James Williams (Joyce) of Houston, TX; Mary Hayes (Kurt) of Mississippi and Cynthia Coates of Anahuac, TX. Special Friends: Shaurrah Williams, Chundra Albrittion, Evelyn Wynne, Diane Jenkins, Tammy Chenevert along with a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
