Allan's Obituary

Munroe, Jr., Allan Aubrey, 78, a resident of Letohatchee, AL died at his home Thursday, June 18, 2015. The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Street officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Letohatchee Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 22, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.Mr. Munroe was preceded in death by his parents: Allan and Lee Ida Munroe, Sr.; brother-in-law: George Willard Welsh and sister-in-law: Carolyn DeFreece. He is survived by his wife: Melba J. Munroe of Letochatchee, AL; children: Melba Owen (Bud), Tammy Ott and Allan Munroe, III all of Letohatchee, AL; grandchildren: Bubba Owen (Mary Beth) of Letochatchee, AL, Michael Owen (Sharon) of Hope Hull, AL, Dustin Owen (Brenna) of Hope Hull, AL, Amanda Cato of Letohatchee, AL, James Grace of Letohatchee, AL and Reba Saffold (Dee) of Hayneville, AL; six great grandchildren; sister: Myrna Hartman (Johnny) of St. Joseph, MO; brother-in-law: Charles Wesley Welsh (Mary) of Turney, MO; sister-in-law: Reba Lockard (Jim) of Warrensburg, MO and Anna Ruth Wuertele of Plattsburg, MO and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Henry Owen, Harry Owen, Gerry Dobbs, Trey Holms, Michael Davis and Glenn Massey. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Luker, Gary Julian, Bill Bryant, Everette Story, Edmond Payne, Charles Sharpe and Frank King.
