In December of 2023, Allen moved to the Quad Cities to be closer to his two sons.
Those left to cherish Allen’s memory include his two sons, Matt (Lindsay) Carlson and Andy Carlson; his sisters, Lois, Doris, and Cathy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
