Allen S. Mullet, age 80, formerly of Nappanee, IN, died at 3pm on Sunday afternoon, June 22, 2025 at his son’s residence in Macy, IN. Allen was born on June 25, 1944 in Nappanee to Steven B. and Barbara (Chupp) Mullet. On November 9, 1967, Allen married Anna Mae Borkholder in Nappanee. She preceded him in death on November 11, 2003. Allen worked throughout his life as a woodworker and farmer. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Allen is survived by 7 children: 5 sons, Steve (Katherine) Mullet of Macy, Marlin (Erma) Mullet of Bremen, IN, Arlen (Eileen) Mullet of Rochester, IN, Norman (Laura) Mullet of Bremen, LaVern (Mary Jo) Mullet of Plymouth, and 2 daughters, Velma (Leon) Beachy of Millersburg, IN, and Mary Lou (Wayne) Schwartz of West Lafayette, OH; 36 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 7 siblings: 3 brothers, Omer (Clara) Mullet of Leesburg, Paul Mullet of Leesburg, Steven S. Mullet of Elkhart and 4 sisters, Fern Mullet of Bremen, Carol Mullet of Bremen, Sue (John) Yoder of Nappanee, and Rosemary Mullet of Bremen. Allen was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anna Mae Mullet; daughter-in-law, Sharon Mullet; brother, Merlin Mullet; and 2 sisters-in-law, Rosemary and Cammy Mullet. Visitation will be held after 2 pm on Monday, June 23, 2025 and all day on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at the David and Karen Miller residence (6757 6A Rd, Plymouth, IN 46563). A funeral service will begin at 9:30 am on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the David and Karen Miller residence with Bishop Joseph Borkholder and Home Ministries of the Old Order Amish Church officiating. Burial will take place in Weldy Cemetery, Nappanee. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
