I'm so sorry for your loss Nancy. I was so sad to read of Alley's passing. He was so nice and thoughtful when I worked with him and Jim. He talked about you, Laura and Catherine a lot. Sending prayers to you all.

Nancy we were so sorry to learn of Alley’s passing. Although my parents passed 26 years ago it seems like yesterday we were sitting in your dining room after you had invited us for dinner. We have fond memories of you both and your kindness in difficult times. You were the perfect couple and may all the memories you hold be with you forever.
Our deepest sympathy is with you at this sad time.

Alley was always entertaining and fun to be around. Michael met Alley when he played on a YMCA basketball team with him . They enjoyed the Seahawk Club and discussing sports, especially UNCW basketball ,through the years. Alley and Nancy were a great couple and delightful to socialize with.

Dear Laura & Catherine. I loved your dad and you as well. It’s been a long time but please know I am thinking of you and wish you condolences and sympathy.

Your celebration of life tribute on the basketball court is perfect. Very fitting.

I am actually visiting my mom this weekend in Virginia and sorry I can’t make the trip to Wilmington to honor your dad and see you. I would have done that.

Hope our paths can cross again someday in better circumstances.
