Alma W. Kinker

Alma W. Kinker, of Telford and formerly of Bedminster Twp., PA, died Thursday, January 15, 2015, in the Lutheran Community at Telford, Telford, PA. She was 88.She was the wife of Wendell F. Kinker. The couple had celebrated their 62nd Wedding Anniversary on March 15, 2014.Born in Gardenville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Warren S. and Florence (Long) Wolfinger. She was a 1944 graduate of Doylestown High School, Doylestown, PA.Mrs. Kinker was a self-employed bookkeeper, working for a number of businesses throughout Bucks County during her career.She was a member of Solomon?s United Church of Christ, Bedminster, PA, where she taught Sunday School, belonged to the Women?s Guild and served as the church secretary for many years.Mrs. Kinker was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed making clothes for her family.Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Susan E. Brown of Upper Black Eddy, PA, and Wendy Witter and her husband Thomas of Breinigsville, PA; three grandchildren, Zachary Brown, Rachel Bailey and her husband Curtis, and Joshua Witter; and two great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her brother, Warren Wolfinger.Her Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Solomon?s United Church of Christ, 2990 Bedminster Road, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.Interment will be held privately in Mechanicsville Cemetery, Mechanicsville, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer?s Association of South East PA, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.Arrangements are by the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie.
