Althea Marcella Ogle

Althea made me laugh. Her caring nature made her speed by my desk and stop abruptly just to ask if I'm okay. We had our private Caribbean upbringing jokes which I will miss.

She was and is a ball of ethereal light, placed among the stars of heaven to light our way. God Bless your vibrant soul, Althea.

I remember the very first day Althea joined the SunTrust/Truist team in Orlando, she carried a light that shone wherever she went. I was blessed to work alongside her, volunteer with her, and share many uplifting conversations about God. I’ll never forget the day she told me that the best way to work is with worship music playing in the background, a reflection of her joyful spirit and faith. Fly high, my dear friend. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Althea was a wonderful, Godly soul. I had the pleasure of working with her through the merger of BB&T and SunTrust and subsequently, Truist. She was a hard worker and an absolute joy to be around. I know she will be greatly missed. Sending prayers for her family and friends.

I only had the opportunity to know Althea for a couple of years working with her as a team lead at Truist, but the few times I was around her when she would come from Florida to NC to visit, she was always such a light. Her smile would brighten a room, & she had the friendliest demeanor. She will truly be missed.
