I am sorry to hear of my cousins passing he was an active kid, and I have very found memories of him.

I cannot say enough about Chris's dedication to the youth sports organizations - SYBA, Biddy Basketball. Chris was always there to help and support the leagues as well as his dedication to sports officiating. RIP Chris.

Alvin's Obituaries

Alvin Chris Schroeder Jr., 61, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018, in Slidell.

Alvin was preceded in death by father: Alvin Chris Schroeder Sr.

He is survived by his mother: Helen Mustacchia Schroeder; one brother: Gary Schoeder (Charmaine); one nephew: Gary Schroeder Jr; two nieces: Rachel Hanchett and Kathleen Schroeder; great-nephews: Lindsey Jesse Hunt, Tripp Schroeder; great-niece: Raylyn Garrard.

Alvin was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for over twenty years.

He was a member of the Louisiana Referees Association, and was a coach of the Biddy Basketball team.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 10:00am, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, LA.

Friends may visit on Saturday beginning at 9:00am.

Burial will be in Lakelawn Mausoleum in New Orleans.
