Not sure what to say?

The Amy I was fortunate to know understood that ecology and humanity are intertwined — that caring for one means caring for the other. Through her actions, she planted seeds of awareness, kindness, and responsibility that will continue to grow long after her passing.

Her legacy lives on in cleaner spaces, in healthier habits, and in hearts made more mindful because she was here. She made the world better simply by loving it — and us — so well.

We’ve always admired people who raised wonderful families and did wonderful politics.
And our grandson Sincere (now at UW Madison) was in the MacDowell early elementary classroom where Amy was the assistant and where he caught Shelley Dosmann’s last three years of teaching.
Our condolences to Amy’s family.

I am so deeply saddened to learn of Amy's passing. She was one of my favorite people on the planet. Such a good human being. My heart goes out to Tom, Anna, Ian, and the rest of her family.
