She was often the life of the party and onlookers waited to see what mischief she would get into.A life well lived/well lovedShe is survived by her husband James Rounds; her sisters Dorothy Hewitt, Susan Williams and Carolyn Mastretti (husband Craig). Her children are Linda Berry, Vivian Graham (husband Terry) and Mike McKinney. Stepchildren: Nicole Graaham, Tonya Graham, Monique Graham and Jerry Rounds (wife Bobbie). She has 16 Grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.She is proceeded in death by both her parents Hugh and Essie Strickland, brother Eugene Strickland and infant sister Barbara. Her prior husband Larry Graham, Son-in-law Jim Berry, grandson Jason Smith and youngest daughter Cynthia Louise Mckinney.Services for Maxine will be held at the VA Cemetery in Fernley under the direction of Smith Family Funeral home on:January 8, 2026 at 11:00 am.The celebration will continue following the services, all are welcome.Venue pending
