Mr. Alston treated me with respect at a time in my life when people overlooked me. He saw in me something I didn't see in myself. He made a difference in my life. He may be gone but he will not be forgotten.

Andre Alston, Sr. age 61 of Dyersburg, TN died Thursday, September 18, 2025, at West Tenn. Healthcare-Dyersburg, TN. Arrangements are entrusted with McCreight Funeral Home. Andre was a U.S. Army Veteran and employed with the Tennessee Department of Corrections as a Barber instructor at Northwest Correctional Facility. He was the owner of Alston's Barber Shop in Dyersburg, TN. Andre was a member of New Birth Ministries in Dyersburg, TN. Visitation will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, 5:00pm-7:00pm at McCreight Funeral Home 1607 Hornbrook St. Dyersburg, TN. and Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00a.m.-11:55a.m. at New Birth Ministries 215 High St. Dyersburg, TN. Funeral service will follow at 12: Noon with Rev. Al Seward officiating. Pall Bearers will be friends of Andre Alston, Jr. Burial will be held in the Garden of Everlasting Life Cemetery, 4780 US 51 N. Covington, TN.
