No words can express how sorry my children (Shai, David, and Devin Boeschling) and I are for your loss. I can only imagine the sorrow your heart is going through. Andruw was one of the sweetest kids I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I miss him coming through my door in the evenings asking if I need help with anything. He helped me hang some sheetrock a while back (and messed it up ;)) He and I were going to take it down and rehang it, but I think it will stay right where its at...It's Andruws wall. Im so sorry for your loss. This bright light went out way too soon

Andruw's Obituary
Services for Andruw John Mendes will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 26, 2013 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Brother Grady Dodge officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Cemetery.The family requests that visitation be observed Thursday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.Andruw, 14, of Deville born, December 21, 1998 and passed away Friday, December 20, 2013. He was a student at Buckeye Jr. High School where he was a member of the Football and Powerlifting teams. Lovingly known as ?Bubba? by his family, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, loved the outdoors, and mud riding in the swamp. He was loved by all that knew him.Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Joanne Jenkins and her husband, Chuck; father, Randy Mendes; sister, Denise Prouty; maternal grandparents, Richard Prouty and wife, Pat, Lilly Simmonds; paternal grandparents, Debbie Marx and husband, Don, Richard Mendes and wife, Sandee; Uncle, Mike Prouty and wife, Dana; numerous other uncles, cousins, family classmates and friends at Buckeye Jr. High and High School.
