Angela I. Estrela

Angela I. Estrela, 84-year-old died Tuesday, October 19, in Morgan Hill.  She was born on October 2, 1937 in Gilroy, California to Tony and Josephine Coletto. 

Preceded in death by her husband, Anthony K. Estrela, father and mother Tony and Josephine Coletto, and her brother Anthony ”Sonny” Coletto.

She is survived by her son, Christopher A. Estrela (Leah) of St. Libory, Nebraska, daughter, Andrea C. Pecsok (Andrew) of Morgan Hill, CA; grand-daughters, AnnaLisa (Dane) Mosel of Gothenburg, Nebraska, Jami (David) Brandow of Hordville, Nebraska, Alexandra (Dustin) Robinson of Gilroy, CA, Tyler Pecsok of Morgan Hill, CA; great grandchildren, Parker Robinson, Mason Pecsok, and Gianna Brandow; brothers, Henry (Martha) Coletto and Ron (Patti) Coletto of Gilroy, CA.

Angela graduated from Gilroy High School in 1955.  Her life was filled with family and friends.  She enjoyed neighborhood get togethers, teaching cooking to “her boys” in 4-H, having friends over for Bagna Cauda, celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas, spending time with her grandchildren, and gardening. She was an active member of the Morgan Hill Flower Lovers Club, Women in Touch (Gilroy), and the Italian Catholic Federation of St. Catherine’s Parish. 

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 27 at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy, CA at 6:30PM.  Burial is Thursday, October 28 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Morgan Hill, CA at 10:00 AM.
