Angela's Obituary

Angela ?Muttie? C. Gretten, 69 of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, October 13, 2014 at St. Luke's Living Center East. Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Brosh Chapel. A private family inurnment will be at a later date. Angela was born November 29, 1944 in West Berlin, Germany, the daughter of Gerda Hauke. She married Henry Arthur Gretten in West Berlin, Germany in 1964. Angela was very proud of becoming a U.S. Citizen on October 16, 1977. She enjoyed cooking, going to bingo, and spending time with her family and friends.Angela is survived by her children Henry (Pam) Gretten, Jacqueline Mae (Larken) Hodges, Deanna Gretten, and Nolita Gretten; ten grandchildren Tiffany, Drew, Keri, Zachary, Bryce, Mercedes, Brandon, Nick, Dakota, and Alexa, and ten great-grandchildren; her sister Sabina Hauke of Germany, and her extended family the Robinsons.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry, and a daughter Susan Hauke. ?Have I told you lately that I love you,? Angela.Memorials may be directed to the family.
