Oh sweet friend I will miss you. You became such an encourager to me in our shared journey. Rest in the peace of our Lord and Savior

I am so very sorry Anissa was such a strong and amazing woman that never stopped fighting. I will always cherish the times as her nurse but she became a friend. Thank you for the memories sweet lady. Kisses to Heaven

I didn’t really know Anissa, but feel the pain of your loss. She was too young and to have fought such an awful disease. Thoughts and prayers. Tamyra

Darrell and Family So sorry for your loss. The Family will be in my thoughts and prayers for comfort during this time.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. She was a wonderful person inside and out. Loved her precious family

I first came to know Anissa and Darrell when I married into the Willard family many years ago. They were the perfect couple. My condolences to all the family. May God comfort your hearts during this time of great loss.

I am a friend of her mother, Rhonda. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

Austin, Keri, Emma and Zadey,
You and your family are in our prayers at this time of sadness. May God comfort you with His peace and strength.

Anissa's Obituary

Anissa Jo Keith, 53 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at her home.  Anissa was born in Florida on May 6, 1972.

Anissa was a kind, caring and compassionate person.  She loved the Lord, her husband, kids, and grandkids beyond measure.  She always spoke highly of her Ma Ester and Pa Tommy, who she’d look forward to seeing again one day.

Her love of cooking and baking was instilled in her by her Ma.  She always prepared meals as if she were cooking for an army.  Anissa has always been a hard worker.  As a wife and mother, she obtained an associates degree from Wytheville Community College in order to be an LPN. She then devoted 20 plus years to Laurel Meadows Nursing Home.  Anissa cherished any time she was spending with her family, no matter what the event was.  She was known for always putting the needs of others first, not only at home or at the nursing home, but every where she went! Until we meet again.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell Keith; sons and daughters-in-law, Zach and Lori Keith and Austin and Keri Keith; grandchildren, Bryson, Emma, Zadey, Colton, Kristen and Madison Keith; and mother, Rhonda Rayburn.

She was preceded in death by her Ma Ester and Pa Tommy Arnette.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 12:00 PM with Pastor Eddie Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Shade Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
